Huia, Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Huia is built on the belief that a natural approach to winemaking produces the best tasting wine. Calling Marlborough, New Zealand, home, their focus is to become more and more in tune with the total environment of the vineyards. They believe that working in harmony with the entire countryside provides balance and longevity to their wines; so sheep and chickens wander through the vines, bees pollinate all the wildflowers, and olive trees are planted on the borders of the vineyards too. Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is made from 100% organic Sauvignon Blanc taken from two vineyards, Huia Home Block and Churton, providing well-draining alluvial soils, sandy silts and river stones ensure sun heat warms the soil for tropical flavours. The wine is packed with notes of cantaloupe, passionfruit, keylime pie, and honeysuckle; along with the classic Marlborough gooseberry-ness; all complimented by a nice vibrant acidity.
